The anticipation and excitement first experienced at the birth of Saanich Baptist Church remains today as we strive to be a church that glorifies God by developing Christians who are passionately committed to both the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37, 39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20).

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind... and love your neighbour as yourself." Matthew 22:37, 39

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19, 20
