This is a series of inspirational interviews for men, by men from a variety of backgrounds. Each CD contains an introduction, a passage of scripture, two interviews, a humorous story or two and closing prayer. The purpose is to get you spiritually focused during the week...as you travel in the car, exercise or whatever. The best part is, it's on your time. No need to take time out of your busy schedule to get spiritually charged during the week.
Don White is an active member of SBC, having served as Chairman of the Elder’s Board, Chairman of the of the Ministry Board and numerous other positions within the church. He currently works as a public servant for the provincial government).
Lorne Broughton was a Colonel with the Canadian Air Force. He and his wife, Lorraine, were members of SBC for many years and have served in numerous capacities. Lorraine continues to attend and serve at SBC. When Lorne passed away in December of 2007, it was a great loss for our church as well as for his family. We feel privileged to have this interview as a lasting remembrance of Lorne.

Rod Kolke moved to Nanaimo from Ontario to start the Meeting Place in 1999. He holds an undergraduate degree in Environment and Resource Studies from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Associated Canadian Theological Schools. It is Rod's dream that this Nanaimo church become instrumental in helping many people all over the world come to realize the power to change through Jesus Christ
Gipp Forester is Pastor Emeritus @ Gateway Baptist Church and the Founder of the Mustard Seed Street Church and Food Bank here in Victoria; Gipp, a former radio host for C-FAX 1070, can also be heard in various radio dramas and commercials around the world including an annual Christmas special that can usually be found on C-FAX 1070 during the winter holiday season.

Mark Buchanan is the Pastor at New Life Church in Duncan) Pastor Mark has been at New Life eleven years, and loves both the church and the community. He is Lead Pastor whose primary responsibilities are preaching, overseeing worship, and leading the staff. He's also a writer and conference speaker. In the past year, he's been working with a large coalition of community leaders to create a new relationship between the churches of the Cowichan Valley and the First Nations people.
Roger Parrish enjoyed a 35 year career serving on B.C. Ferries. Hear from Roger as he relates his experiences to being an authentic Christian in the working world.

David Bentall is the founder of Next Step Advisors, and is a graduate of UBC's Commerce Faculty and Harvard's Business School. During his years as President and CEO of Dominion Construction the business doubled in size to just under $300 million in sales. He played on championship rugby teams with Magee High School and the University of B.C., competed in short course triathlons for many years, and today is a nationally ranked competitive water skier.
Eric Fehr was Darin Phillips’ roommate during his sophomore year in college. Eric is a full time student at the Associate Canadian Theological Schools in Langley on the Trinity Western University Campus. In addition to his full time studies, Eric works part time at a Starbucks in Surrey. Eric went through some dark times in his past, while he struggled with drug and alcohol addictions. His story offers hope to those who might be struggling with addictions or other strongholds in their lives.

Bill Okell is a Canadian race car driver for over 25 years and he’s felt his adrenaline surge at major events such as the prestigious Vancouver Molson Indy, where he raced seven times and placed second —a career highlight. Still involved in as many as 10 races annually, he and his team have achieved a level of success in the sport that few Canadians have ever enjoyed. As well as his race life Okell, a well known local race and sports broadcaster, is a public speaker and always talks eloquently about lessons learned—lessons of patience, perseverance, teamwork, trust and leadership.
Jayson Oldham is the youth pastor at Ladner Baptist Church. He served in a few areas of student ministry such as Cloverdale Baptist, Grace Baptist in Hope, and Camp Qwanoes. His life mission is simply to love Jesus, and love others. If Jayson can know God deeper each day, and allow Him to shape his life, then he feels that he is just where he needs to be! He desires to be the best husband to his wife, the best father to his boys, and the best leader to those God has entrusted to him to lead.
