GrowBible Reading - Prayer - Serving - Solitude - Baptism - Communion (coming soon) - Fasting(coming soon) “God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus.” In our lives, when we want to see change and to grow, we build in habits/disciplines to help make it happen. What is true there is also true spiritually. Dallas Willard defines a discipline/habit as, "any activity within our power that we engage in to enable us to do what we cannot do by direct effort." The great news is that this is not a self help project where it is all up to us. God is incredibly interested in helping us grow. It is a co-operative effort. See God’s commitment to you as you journey. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3 …continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2: 12, 13 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things… 1 Timothy 4:7, 8
