Next Steps Classes

The next step classes are offered at different times throughout the year and are designed to give practical help for you as you journey with Jesus. The classes each contain 3 sessions and are offered for 3 consecutive weeks on Thursday nights, 7 until 8.15p at Saanich Baptist Church.

How to Read and Understand the Old Testament

Led By - Dave Rogers & Craig Bakker
The Old Testament can be a little hard to grasp at times. In this class you’ll discover how Jesus is seen in the Old Testament, as well as some of the overarching themes. This class will offer practical help and resources, that will allow you to gain a better understanding of the God of the entire Bible.

Express Yourself

Led By - Lorrie Orr
Discover creative ways to grow as you journey. The sessions will focus on the experiences of writing and visual arts to bring insight and clarity in your daily life. No prior experience needed. We will be doing some hands on activities in each session.

Starting Point

Led By - Lindsay Anderson

Interested in finding out more about Jesus, His claims, and what He has to say about life? Starting point is a group where you can investigate more about who Jesus is and ask your questions in a non threatening environment.

Practical Financial Help

Led By - Michael Schultz, David Gowing & Loretta Burns

It's that time of year when we start thinking more about our finances than at any other time. This class will offer practical help including: taxes, the what and how's of RRSP's, investments, mortgage reduction, budgeting, credit cards, line of credits, dealing with debt-consolidation. You will have opporuntity to ask your questions as well.
