Marshall Gustavson

Marshall gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized when he was 10 years old after neighbours hosted 'Bible Story Time' during the summer for local kids. He and his wife Kathy have been married for 44 years and have two children. They began attending Slugget Memorial Baptist Church (later Centennial Park Fellowship Baptist) in 1989 where Marshall served on the board several times throughout the years, walking through good time and hard times. In 2016, Centennial Park Fellowship became a campus of Saanich Baptist Church. In 2023, after much prayer and seeking God's guidance, Marshall and Kathy both felt that Marshall should accept a position on the SBC Servant Leader's Board. Marshall believes that if we follow God's Word and put him first in everything, we will have a church that grows strong in faith and in number.
