PACK TO SCHOOL, CHRISTMAS & SERVE THE CITY DAY
Pack to School partners with 1 Up Single Parent Resource Centre to ensure kids and teens have the supplies they need to start the school year off right. 1Up helps provide practical support, opportunities for growth, and a sense of hope to one-parent families across Greater Victoria.
In late November through December, we reach out to support local families, individuals, and aid organizations* through hampers, gifts, and gift cards.
*Victoria Women's Transition House, The Angel Tree Program (Prison Ministires), The Cridge Centre, 1Up Single parent Resource Centre, and Sanctuary Youth are some of the organizations we have partnered with over the years.
In the spring we host Serve the City Day and partner with organisations such as Compassionate Resource, Women’s Transition House, CRD Parks and local housing communities.
